2CT technology originated in MotoGP racing. The Pilot Power 2CT tyres are a great choice for sport bike riders, and are suitable for both commuting and weekend fun.  The 2CT is suitable for a track day, but is equally at home on the road.

The tread is divided into 3 separate areas. It has a firmer central compound and a softer shoulder compound for improved edge grip and tyre life.  Because of the dual compound technology in this tyre, it allows riders to lean at angles of up to 51.2  In addition to lean angle, the benefits of the 2CT also include dry grip, handling and progressive acceleration and braking in the wet.

The casing of the 2CT also enhances straight line stability.
